American students studying in Australia should pay particular attention to the prerequisites for courses in mathematics, economics and statistics. Enroll only in courses that you know your qualified to take and inquire about the prerequisites of courses that you're unsure of.

Overall, if a student doesn't want to study, he'll still get his/her degree. The level of exigency is not high enough - the workload is not high enough to ensure you actually learn something, and you're not taught basic things in life, like meeting delays.
