¿Por qué?
All students are requested to live on campus. As a big advantage you get to know people easier.

Compared to the Thai standard, the on campus accomodation has been alright. Of course, they are not comparable at all to European standards. The standard accomodation is a small room with shared toilet and shower. But there is also the possibility to get an appartment in the student village with two other students, where rooms are bigger. Moreover, there is kind of a living-room and a gas stove for cooking. As to cleanliness, the charwomen come twice a week. Nevertheless, big cockroaches, spiders and ants are a common thing. Anyway, after a while you get used to it. The water is always cold, but you can get along with it for some time. Finally, there is no air-condition, just fans and it takes some time to get used to the high humidity. As there are no window grates, it can be quite noisy from time to time. All in all, the accomodation was alright after getting used to different standards.

On campus. But if you can, stay in the e,j or k dorm, at least they have private bath and small kitcen and aircon.

OK, but avoid the student village accomodation near the garbage dump, which is in middle of the campus (!!)
Also, sometimes there is a lot of noise from other students, especially in the standards dorms. And the sports facilities are just outside some of the dorms so there is a lot of noise from people playing badminton, tennis etc. The standard dorm rooms are quite small also. I found accomodation at AIT to be so so. Again, the e,j, and k dorms are by far the best.

Since my studies will be over by the end of my time at AIT, I would like to start working. Sharing an app. has always been a good experience so far.

The housing is alright, when not stying at the standard rooms, which are small and without proper ventilation. If living at single or double room app. it becomes more spacious and airy. Always keep in mind that you are not living in central Europe :-)

Many more possibilities to live on campus. Finally, after much negotiating, I ended up in a nice 3 bedroom house with 2 fellow students

The initial accomodation we got was actually not good at all. A small bed, a small desk and a small cubboard is all we got. Moreover, a room without airconditioning. In Europe it sounds luxury, In Bangkok at the other hand a necessity!

As an exchange student I couldn't live on campus, but an appartment was provided at 20 min walking time. There was also a minibus service 8 time a day.

Very convenient to stay on campus although the standard rooms are quite small and sometimes noisy from other students as well as (never ending?) maintenance work on campus.
