Si lo hubiera sabido...

MAKE SURE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO TRANSFER YOUR COURSES. I took a few, only managed to transfer 2. AUB grades very harshly, and they even sent a letter with my transcript saying they do, but my university at home disregarded it and went by the AUB scale, effectively denying me my real grades.

the education is of high quality. The material is up-to-date, but the teaching methods may be a bit archaic.

be prepared to work hard, it's not an easy university to attend. Go out, meet people, enjoy the night life. You will need a decent amount of money to go all out! Typically, for me, a night out cost me over $50, and that's just drinking, no food.

AUB has taught me how to be independent and manage my time accordingly especially because my major, environmental health needed proper time management due to the load. It is a great university with experienced professors that are always well-organized and ready to teach.
