Si j'avais su
I wished I had known more about the academic system and how to choose a class from another. A lot of different tools are at the disposal of students in the US and the system is really different from France. I wish I had talked to a french alumni about it so I would have chosen the best from the beginning.

I go to the Catholic University of America and I selected American because my school was not listed. CUA is a great school that set me up with a strong study abroad program in Paris, France. After three months of studying in France, I was able to speak fluently with my host family and other native speakers in Paris. I am now an IES ambassador for my school and a double major in International Business and French.

More often than not you will be taking classes with other students who are congressional aides or established professionals in any number of regional tech companies from the Dulles corridor.
Many professors have ties to the local business community as well. So, they bring both real world experience as well as their research knowledge. AU is definitely one of those best kept secrets in DC.
