A fun boss and a lot of hands-on experience
I worked as an internet marketing specialist who had a lot of prior knowledge, so when I came there I already started to restructure the website, setting up FB ads, landing pages and email autoresponders. I basically just put my knowledge into practice which was great. The owner didn't really have any knowledge that I didn't already have, but they gave me the space and opportunity to test my skills.
Trusting boss in flourishing environment
My internship in C-punkt hostel in Ljubljana covered everything I had studied in Business management and Human Resources. I was trusted to work in every aspect of the hostel: making a survey for employees, solving problems in the workplace, implementing more efficient systems for reservations, making an employees book to improve the training of new comers, writing a weekly newsletter... I learnt a lot about managing a team, making systems more efficient and managing a hostel in its whole.
