Winston-Salem is a pretty small town. It's better to go to Greensboro (approx. 30 minutes by car) - there are plenty of bars, clubs, etc.

There are plenty of chances for international students to speak out, and you can really practice your english if you're a foreigner.

Graduate students can't live on campus. I had an American and a German roommate and had wonderful time with them and other friends we invited over. However if i had studied in WFU as an undergrad, i would have loved to join a fraternity.

No possibility for graduate students to live on campus. However, the CIS will assist you in finding accomodation.
