Overall
I wish I had known...
I talked to some friends who studied there before, they just recommended me to study there. Oh! but I wish I had known before the last month at VT... :S that there is a group from the university that organize good activities such as horsing, rafting, camping, among other stuffs. They weren't very organized but I had fun participating in one of them: rafting in West Va. (surf on VT web page to learn more about it)

I really love speaking english and I wanted to experience the American culture. This experience helped me to improve my English (specially the listening). However there where many intls students who speak spanish so I didn't speak as much english as I wanted to... try not to make the same mistake hehe ;) Though the experience was awesome!!

Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
Personal comments
I lived in Payne Hall it is one of the best residence halls at VT. It is where most international students are arranged therefore you can interact easily with a lot of people that are going through the same experience at you!
