OverallVUW offers many interesting papers with the most amazing lecturers. The school also offers good volunteering opportunities to boost your understanding of the topic you have chosen to study. Top of all the aforementioned, you'll be completing your studies in the coolest little capital surrounded by amazing sceneries that help you to find your zen when necessary!

Actually, I have no idea on this University.I just want to inform students that one of PVC from this University was from University Of Plymouth.He was an unfair head of department previously.He never admit he was wrong when the proof had given. He don't understand what is the meaning of Plagiarism.In year 2002, plagiarize students awared as 1st class Hons degree!He don't even know his lecturers simply gave marks to their students during project marking on that year.Study and work hard students only awarded as 2.2 and 3rd class degree!Please beware of him!

If you are thinking about doing Post Grad at the School of Earth Sciences make sure you do your homework very carefully and ask all sorts of difficult questions before commiting to travelling to this univeristy.

Overall
I am outraged that Victoria University of Wellington has not yet banned the forced swim test, in which experimenters dose mice and rats with drugs and drop them into cylinders of water to watch how long they struggle. The modern scientific community – including huge pharmaceutical companies such as Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Roche, AbbVie, and AstraZeneca – has moved past such barbaric tests. An educational facility such as Victoria University should be on the forefront of preparing students for the future of science, which lies in humane, animal-free research methods.

Supervision at Post /grad level was woeful. Project was not thought through in any way, supervisor was inexperienced, unhelpful, and actively nupleasant.

My academic experience at this University has been apalling. Some of the staff i have had the misfortune to have dealings with are some of the most inadequate individuals I have ever had the misfortune ot come across. The whole school, in fact the whole culture of this university needs a major overhaul to bring it into the 21st Century. Think very carefully before commiting time and money to this institution.
