I spend more just because everything is more expensive than in Spain. With the phone it was not like that because I just used it in speciall ocations and if I dind´t spend more in the nightlive was because I had to renounce to some expenses.

Cost of living in Sweden is 2 to 3 times more then in Canada. So everything costs you more, taxi, milk, bread, beer, stamps, coffe etc

Alcohol is expensive, but in teh student bars there are lower prices. Sweden is not such an expensive country, That is exagerated!

For those who don't wanna buy a bike for their stay (thinking of the weather for instance), a monthly buscard is the most economic solution to get around.
