If sombody wants to come I recomand them to come by car. Campus and city center are preatty far and biking in the winter is not heaven

On campus there are two clubs to go to. And they are great! Off campus there is one more studentpub. A lot of international students go there, because they live so close to it. Next to that, you have your regular clubs and bars in Växjö. It's not a very big town (75.000 inhab.), but there are a handful of nice clubs/bars to go to. The university is very active in organising parties and events (among which a visit to Stockholm) for international students, so you will not be bored.

Overall things are more in expensive in Sweden. But through my university I had all the same prices for food and rent that I had at home. As far as travel is concerned, I took advantage of being in Europe and travelled as much as I could.Phone bills were obviously higher since I had to call overseas.

you must mix with international stuudents everything is done to make you have a very good time ... fall semester seems to be better than the spring one (don't ask why)
