All the student nations (as they are called) are great places to hang out, meet other people and have fun. In particular, I recommend Värmlands Nation on Friday nights.

Good nightclubs are definitely missing in uppsala, but this is because of the many private students parties. The best parties took place in students' corridors anyway.
