The American dollar wasn't nearly as bad as it is now. When I was there it was 20 CZK = 1 USD and now it's 16. Food prices are close, with peanut butter being expensive.

"The Wine Bar", behind Starymesto. The royal gardens. Everywhere in Praha is amazing! Do not go in the summer though - too many people. Also do not miss cesky kremlov. I met the love of my life there - still together after four years!

Personal comments
The people that worked there were rude and they barely spoke English. They only changed my sheets once in 5 weeks...and it was 100 degrees EVERY DAY so my sheets were disgusting. There was no Air conditioning and leaving the windows open at night meant the ceiling was coated in bugs. It was livable, but if you have the choice and the money I would recommend not staying at komenskeho kolej.
