I was not very satisfied of the courses in the faculty of social sciences. they didn't offer many courses for exchange students. But on the other hand in the faculty of economics they had a lot of good courses and excellent professors.

To offer more courses for exchange students. Also more lessons. Some of the courses were only individual courses, made by essays or seminar papers. No interaction to other students or professors.

Before arriving in Ljubljana I didnt speak a word of slovene language, however after an academic year living there I could manage to comunicate for everyday life. Yet, I did not choose Slovenia because of the language spoken there but for its history as a former Yugoslavian country and its recent joint in the EU.
I did not have problems to communicate either with Administration or the rest of students as they speak english as well.

The way they are accepting students from another countries is just outstanding, because they are always there for them for some help, or to give some advice. About Faculty of Economics i have just words of praise.

University of Ljubljana includes different fields of studies (social and natural sciences). I study international relations at the Faculty of Social Sciences. The programme is very interdisciplinary, because we study politics, law and economy, which gives us knowledge of different fields.
