I live with my parents, so I automatically spent more on food and accommodation. I hardly used my mobile phone as it was a dutch one, so It would've cost too much to use it. I went out more than In Holland so I spent more on nightlife. In Holland I have a travelcard which is funded by the government, so I spent more in the UK.

Personal comments
The buscard for the semester costed 145 pounds so that was a bit of a surprise. It's better to take lots of money every once in a while than to take little amounts, because your bank charges quite a lot for those transactions.

Personal comments
I'm doing international studies in the Netherlands, so I have to speak english anyway when I'm at the University, therefore my English was already pretty good before I went. however, I have learned some slang, And I think that generaly I was a bit more comfortable with speaking english at the end of the period than at the beginning.
