I faced major humiliation and injustice in their hands just because I am from India and so did many such people from various courses in this University. Before you choose this University I would suggest you please go through my detailed experience I had there..which is in my blog:

Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus

Experience the night life of Glasgow; enjoy the brilliant nature and pick the beste courses they have. Next to the subject, the prof is more important.

It is difficult to make friends with local students - they know you are only there for a year. I did not think it would be a problem, as I am a really outgoing person and make new friends easily. It was a bit depressing at the start. The other thing I underestimated was the amount of reading I had to do for the courses.

It was a great course, but a lot of work. Be prepared. Apart from that, you need good references and marks to get accepted.

Don't travel by bus - it is a 26 hours nightmare. BA has special prices at certain times of the year - check them out at the travel agents.
