Manufacturing Engineering with Management was a great course to take. It had a strong engineering content including electrical, mechanical, automation etc., but also included broader business courses such as management, finance for engineers etc.

“If you have options, don't choose Strathclyde.”

Évaluation globale
I came here from a top-ranked uni to do my PhD. After my admissions interview, I thought this was going to be a great environment. I was wrong and should have gone somewhere --anywhere -- else. Everyone (lecturers and staff) are overworked, which makes it hard to talk to your lecturers about classes, assignments, etc. There is a lot of investment in the buildings, but why is there so little investment in the actual programmes (after all, we enrol for the programmes/degree, not because of the buildings)? Also, why is the library so small with a poor selection of the books I need for class? I'm tired of having to find the books elsewhere. The reputation is also poor (unless you're doing business, where is where the uni pours all the money it's not spending on new buildings).

Points forts
If you're international, it's cheaper than a lot of other unis — but you get what you pay for.
Inconvénients
Poor reputation, underfunded programmes, under-stocked library, ugly campus (even with the new buildings)
