It's a small town. $40 one way fm the nearest airport. If you rent a car, do it. Else be satisfied with public transport. Make sure u stay in the right campus, else it's not too easy to travel to school!

Michigan is an extremely cold place, make sure you get proper clothes. Food is extremely expensive compared to many other US cities, it would be cheaper to cook your own food.

I found that the courses at the University of Michigan, while extremely rigorous, were engaging and entertaining. The combination of difficulty and engagement made it enjoyable to attend and participate in my classes. The location is one of the greatest parts of the university, with Ann Arbor being consistently rated as one of the most desirable places to live.

Most professors will teach you the theory of a concept and it is up to you to learn how to apply the equations learned in class.
