there isn't a great night life in malta. there is of course Paceville where all the nightclubs are located and its a great place...the beat clubs are footloose which organises erasmus parties and Fuego which is a salsa bar that plays really good music.

Residence was fun due to the people there. You meet a ton of people so its good if your coming for one or two semesters but not somewhere I'd want to live for 4 years.

GiGi's in Spinola Bay for a nice wine evening or a tasty lunch. The Bar in Balluta Bay very trendy good for a lounch evening. When one likes to dance, I would say Footloose or Native Bar both in Pageville.

everybody in Malta speaks english so i didn't need to learn maltese. As i lived in a university residence with a lot of foreign students, i spoke english everyday and i imrpoved a lot my level.
