My medium of instruction has always been in English.Hence it was not very different for me.The fluency,however, is still stronger in my host university than home university.

Why?
Actually, I spent half of the erasmus in a private accomodation and the other half in a college. Both accomodation were fine, but I would rather choose a college because I met many many people and made new friends in the college.

I simply loved it and I would go back right now if I could. It has been the best experience ever and I will always remember it as the happiest year of my life.
