plenty situations to improve language ability, but sometimes just not enough time to pay attention to mistakes - everybody understands anyways. So, to have the language perfect, you need to plan to learn it, it doesn't come itself even when you can hear native speakers 24/7

It becames second nature very soon which was certainly aided by the fact that I was not put in the same apartment with people of common first language and that I didn't meet anyone from my country.
