Parade pub on campus, it is the best cafe to go and also the waiters are the best(I was working there). You shouldn´t miss the Roman Bath (amazing!), you should visit the Abbey and don´t forget the Circus Square and walk in the park close to the Circus

Thornbank Gardens rocks ! Brand new off campus residence. Met a lot of nice people. High speed network available in each room for a good price, linked to the uni network.
A little bit on the expensive side though.
