best cafe/night spots: the buwee, kazza, the muse (for jazz)
best events: check out the cinema museum they have a diferent film every night. and also all the jazz concerts everywhere
look for a week-guide that should be in every cafe, it's in flemish but you'll understand somethings

Buy the 10 travel check for travelling inside Belgium. Try not only to visit all towns, not only Gant and Brugge.
