Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
One can get nice and cheap apartments close to the school, which is preferred to the campus apartments since they were in really poor condition.

My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang)

Personal comments
The language of instruction was English. I stayed in Malaysia too short to learn other than basic sentences, and I did not have an option to choose Malay at school.

“One of the worst universities ever!”

Overall
I am an international postgraduate student here, at USM, and my experience here is terrible. Neither qualified supervisors exist, nor research facilities! At least at the school of Pharmacy! Ask any international student, and they would tell you the same if not worse! USM now is not about science and education. It is all about how they would make money and profit.
