In my opinion:
I loved it but I'm not sure everybody would.

(1) Unimportant – (4) Very important
Personal recommendation
it's a great challenge, however the academic situation wasn't that impressive. That would probably be due mostly in part to the UB being an urban campus and having a large student population. Cultural differences also factored in to an extent.

I wish I had taken care of housing before going there. The actual search took up about 3-4 weeks, which was sometimes very hard.

It's a good university. I have to admit the level is not as high as my home university. But with the (initial) language problems, I still had a big challenge to pass my exams. But I managed in the end. Most professors I had were very helpfull in helping out the foreign students.

Make sure you've arranged housing beforehand, if not, get there on time to make sure there's still enough time to arrange this.

Despite the great social life in Barcelona, try to save some money for travelling Spain, as this country has a lot more beautiful places than just this city.

Get Bicing straight away, 30 euros for the year and it saves on having to buy T-10s all the time to use the metro (and not to mention it's good for you and the environment! ;)).

Do not take any course of a female teacher, whose name I forgot unfortunately. She does not talk very clearly and too fast what makes it very difficult to follow her.

Enjoy your stay in Barcelona. It is one of he nicest places in the world. It offers almost anything you need. Moreover do not take too many courses since on exchange it is not that important to study but to have your personal experience. You will discover new sides of your personality!

El grado de psicología abarca muchos ámbitos, lo cual me ha ayudado a tener una mejor perspectiva de hacia dónde encaminar mi carrera para dar salida a mis pasiones. Sobretodo me han sido útiles las clases más prácticas, vivenciales e innovadoras, aunque han sido pocas.
Respecto al ambiente estudiantil, no hay novatadas u otas actividades para conocer a l@s compañer@s, en las clases tampoco se mantienen l@s mism@s estudiantes por lo que es difícil crear un grupo de amigos y que coincidáis en las aulas y trabajos.
