I believe that a lot of foreign students, me included, who were not a part of an exchange program were offended by the fact that no free launguage course was offered by the university. Moreover it would believe it to nice from the host university to give a tour on the faculty and explain basic things like how the print/copy system works, the librery etc..

The gas in the flat was really really expencive, we were 4 inth eflat and we got a gas factura on 107000 de pesetas for 2 month, I mean, it was a little bit to much.

My native language is spanish and I speak a little french, so it was very easy reading Catalan, but hearing is a little more complicated. If you can't understand catalan just tell them and they'll immediately switch to Spanish.
