La Oveja Negra - The black sheep. Pretty cool, lots of international people. Fairy Bar - really cool place with trees inside the bar, although I think they are arteficial. Otto Zutz - www.ottozutz.com, really cool place.

A good way to get to know people is to take also classes at othe faculties like at the facult. And make sure you know which classes are in catalan and which in castellano.

Course recommendations
Every semester there is an intensive 1 month spanish course for foreigners. I really advice people to do it: I met half of my current friends in that course, and I improved my spanish a lot, straight from the beginning.

If you are only looking for a good University with a lot of interaction with the teachers don´t go!!! But if you want to improve/learn spanish, lurn about a new country, experience a fanastic city, meet and study with students from all over the world, GOOO!!! you will never regret it!
