“Academic Wise Good, but else no student experience.”

Overall
The academic experience at university is positive, with good professors and lectures that are easy to understand and provide plenty of support.
Verona is a pleasant city with a large tourist population.
Overall, life in Verona is challenging for non-Europeans; apartments are hard to come by with high rents, and locals are unwelcoming, maybe due to cultural and linguistic differences, and there is some racism based on skin color.

Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
I have seen the students accommodation here and although it is fairly nice and clean, students have to follow endless rules starting with not being able to have someone stay at their place.

I was quite fluent before I came here. I needed some practise as I did not have the opportunity to speak Italian everyday in Malta but here Im not having any problems. I am also attending the course offered to Erasmus students to improve it to the most.
