Join EGUC - Ecole de Glisse with the university - organise cheap skiing trips, The Scotch Club - up in the hills three dance floor plus pool niteclub outside of Grenoble. Nightclubs dont have the same following as Ireland, but the Scotch Club is def a good university nightclub plus Le Chamois D'Or - cheap drink near University. Cafe No Name is a great local salsa bar. - check out nites of Salsa. Loads of good pubs in Grenoble town centre itself.

CAfe Notre Dame...I was the manager
Couche Tard Pub -great place v. international, I worked there
London Pub- Also good for a laugh
Vieux Manoir(Club)- You'll end up there most nights
Vertigo (Club)- expensive Shithole in the city centre!
The bigger clubs are out of town! I recommend La Choue (for the experience)
Don't miss the arrival of the Nouveau Beaujolais! Great trip offered into the region with an all night drinking spree!

¿Por qué?
My housing was up on a very big and steep hill and when there was no transportation you had to walk up. I was although better than being on campus if you wanted to go out at night.
