Overall

Overall
Adaptive courses depending on language level, friendly teachers fitting an adult audience, variety of interesting "civilization" conferences about French culture. Perfectly suited for students wanting to work on their language level at their pace.

At the time I was only 19 years old - certainly I would probably act differently now 10 years later - would probably not only experience the paris night life, but also attend more cultural events, experience the french kitchen and so on.

As I did only attend independent literature classes for a year - I cannot talk about the regular university life there.

if you have the oportunity to go to paris don't doubt!!! it's a wonderful experience you will remember forever. it's dificult at the beginning because the city is huge and it's not easy to get to know people. But once you get over that low point you will not want to leave, :-)

Personal comments
As a law student, I had to learn the judicial vocabulary in addition to brushing up on my French grammar. Legal essays in French were a great difficulty for me in my academic studies.
Teachers will often give foreign students some leeway if they make mistakes. Additionally, on final exams you are given the opportunity to specify whether you are a foreign student or not, which is extremely helpful in the case of difficulties with the language.
