Bonne université, cours théoriques intéressants en communicatio

France, Undergraduate
, 2017
Overall

Take a course in your native language, just to see how it's done in another country. You'll probably make a lot of friends too.

Personal comments
In France particularly, make every effort to speak and coverse with others. It's hard at first, but everybody appreciates it when somebody tries. Also, invite someone to go out for a cup of coffee.

Housing
Type of housing: With a family
Arranged by: Home university
If returning, I would choose: With a family
Why?
Liviong with a family, allowed be have an insider's view on French family life. surely, I only was able to see a small speck of what it is like to be part of a Frecnh family, but nonetheless this experience was priceless, and I will remember it forever. As well, living with a family helps a lot to learn a language.

Personal spending habits
Buying cell phone credit was expensive (about 100 euros a 1 1/2 months); I experienced more of the nightlife than I do at home; being in Europe, I traveled more.

Personal comments
Perhaps invest in a cell phone plan instead of buying mobicartes for phone credit. Otherwise, any cost-saving tips you apply at home would suffice in France.
