i would recommend this angers university to anyone who sincerely wishes to understand french culture and especially the language. the classes are all taught in french, based on individual ability, and the students are from all over the world.

for those students who would enjoy learning about france from a more privincial locale, angers is a very cultured and lively city in the midst of the renowned chateau region. the best way to see france is tho live there, study there, and fly by word of mouth to places otherwise unknown to the typical tourist.

Les cours ne sont pas à la hauteur des frais de scolarités (entre 4000 et 6000€ l'année) : pas assez poussés, pas pertinents avec la formations, examens trop faciles et "donnés".
Il reste néanmoins des professeurs/intervenants intéressants et passionnés et il faut se rappeler qu'on ne peut pas tout aimer (prof ou contenus) !
Mais d'un côté la réputation de l'UCO peut être intéressante pour la recherche d'un travail par la suite.
La vie au campus est plutôt bien même s'il manque des points de restauration... La fac est située près du centre-ville, ce qui n'est pas négligeable.

J'ai rejoins l'UCO pour ma dernière année de Master. Je suis alors passée de l'Université publique à privée.
La première chose qui m'a marqué est le rapport entre les étudiants et le personnel de l'Université. Tant professeurs qu'administratifs.
Nous ne sommes pas qu'un "numéro étudiant"aux yeux des enseignants, ils connaissent notre prénoms, et sont toujours prêts à discuter.

I think a lot of people liked it, but it wasn't for me. I was looking for an interaction with local students, but that did not happen while I was there, maybe because it was during summer.

If you really want to learn the language, you need to be careful not to hang out with people from your own country. Go out and meet people and make a chance to practice the language.

Je passe un bon cursus au sein de cette université. En effet, la communication me plaît énormément, ainsi que les domaines du marketing, de l'influence, du digital, de l'événementiel et de la publicité. J'ai une option en production audiovisuelle qui me plaît. J'ai pour projet de fin d'étude de produire une société de production. Ma licence se termine en mai 2023.
