Course recommendations
If you are thinking about taking interpreting courses, do not hesitate! Classes are very small (4 to 7 students this year!) and you work and get personal feedback every day! Disadvantage: timetable changes from week to week and can be quite confusing, lectures are cancelled and rescheduled all of the time, there are clashes... Good on the whole though!

It is a student town, costs are relatively low, and there is the opportunity of meeting both local and international students.

France is very nice, choosing the province and not Paris, gives you the opportunity of knowing better authentic French way of life. Moreover Angers is considered the town where best French is spoken.

Just make sure you send the accommodation form together with the registration form otherwise you will find it EXTREMELY difficult to find accommodation when you arrive. The university will send you addresses of French families who rent rooms to students. If you'd rather live in your own flat/studio start hunting early! it is quite hard to find one plus it can be quite expensive because you need to get an insurance and pay taxes... Halls of residence are not very near the university and unless you contact them 6-8 months before the beginning of the academic year you will not find rooms available! Lodging is one of the main problems here in Angers.
