I wish I had known...
I had quite a hard time getting a return ticket from Germany back to Norway, so I recommend that you buy this ticket before you go.

Teachers were most of the times understanding towards international students who were not completely fluent at German. There were a few courses offered in English as well.

Highly recommend to join the Erasmus German course, which beginns before the term (first week of September or April). You meet lots of people there, plus you learn German.

Courses were great and teachers also, but there was no interaction with local students, because all of us studied different things and we just had one subject in common.
