You should travel around, the trains a very expensive so buy a Vorteilskarte!

Cafe Benno in the 8th is pretty good in the winter. The student nights take a bit to get into but can be good, especially the bwz fests. (esp if you don't mind cheese cheese and more cheese)

Just because I already had the experience to live privatly and even if it has positive sides,I guess leaving on a campus would be more fun!

The housing organizations work quiet good..they're well organized and cheap.The only problem is that you have to ask for a room too much time before you want it and that's why I didn't manage to have one when I came in Vienna.
