At first I couldn't speak anything so I talked in english, but in a month I could talk more or less and more and more with the time.

I followed the same courses as a lot of other British people, but because I lived with Italians, I was able to pick up the language.

At the begining it was very difficult to communicate, but italian people try to help you in every situation. It made it easier.

Bologna is a great choice to learn italian, since one doesn't hear english on the street nearly as much as florence, venice or rome.

no problem but of course you are supposed to speak italian well if you want to follow the courses and communicate with people

The course of italian for Erasmus was really helpful and fun! Also the fact of living with italian people helped me a lot.
