I think that is a good place to go if you like quite life of small cities (70000 inhabitants). Anyway the university is big enough (15000 students) and so you will have fun everyday if you want.

Final comments
If you can bring your car with you I recommend you doing it. I did it and it was great to travel and to move yourself in town. I had the chance to travel and know Erasmus life in other more famous and bigger cities (Rome, Florence, Naples, Venice, Bari...) and I would not chance at all for L'Aquila. In other big places it is really expensive and it is not so familiar with foreign students from other countries and local people. In big cities I have seen that people generally only interact with people from their own nationality.

“Corso di Laurea troppo teorico e poco pratico”

Il corso di Laurea in Scienze motorie dell'Univeristā dell'Aquila č discretamente strutturato, salvo alcune materie del corso che, a mio parere, c'entrano ben poco.
Il 70 delle materie del corso, comunque, sono inerenti alla formazione finale dello studente, ma non sono specifiche del settore; dilagano troppo in altri ambiti, finendo per avere competenze che non sono nč utili, nč necessarie al futuro lavoro.
Altra pecca importante č la breve durata del tirocinio, quasi inesistente e incocludente.
La segreteria didattica, fa letteralmente pena.
