Student boards organizes plenty of parties, but always in the same places; that´s why it gets a bit annoying after a while; look out for non-exchange student nights to have a bit more authentic atmosphere. that might sometimes get expensive but it´s worth it; tips: roialto, cafe solaire,

I know Bocconi housing goes from normal to luxury. It can be very expensive for the services offered. The good point is proximity with university.

I prefered studying in Italian, but many exchange students took only courses in English. I basically understood everything (except when people were speaking a Southern dialect) but I didn't have a chance to activate my language skills because Italians really want to talk English to you.

Final comments
Make sure you have time to travel all over Italy, especially down to the southern part of the country. Skiing in the Alps isn't a bad idea either.

Milan is notorious for shopping (clothes and shoes shoes shoes). There are so many things to do, places to see and people to meet that money flies. Besides, I have a very cheap flat back at home.
