During my stay in Paris I learned it is most important to be comfortable and confident in your language skills and to put them to use as often as possible. Even though most French spoke much better English than I did French, they were usually patient and helpful. There is no need to be embarrassed, as I often was. Speaking a language in real life experiences is the only way to learn it.

I've been studying at Sorbonne since 2017, at many sites. Beautiful faculty with its historical buildings, but too many administrative issues. Also, they handled REALLY bad the COVID19 crisis, no news from the teacher, and they were forcing us on coming to class even when the President said online classes were mandatories.

Parisians in general speak very quickly, particularly the younger generations. Also, there are what seem like millions of new slang words every day.
