If you are spanish and you want to learn french, probably you will have problems, because lot of people speaks spanish. It is also plenty or Spaniards

I foound it a lot easier to speak within a social setting rather than in a more formal atmosphere. There were not many opportunities to interact with students as they tended to live off campus.
