There are plenty of night spots in Cologne. Restaurant Magnus, close to University campus they have the best branch on the weekends

good language courses, but tough to follow the lessons in german (also the professors where a bit boring, and some classes huge)

Flanagan's student night on Tuesdays is always ridiculously popular with the exchange student. Drinks are super cheap but I find it too crowded. All of my German friends LOVED Cent Club on Zulpicher Platz cause it's so cheap. Personally I loved Loom at Friesenplatz the most but you'll find plenty of great places around to party at. Never a dull moment!
