Bring plenty of warmn clothes and skiing equipment to avail of some of the best mountains in europe. Be prepared to make contact with the friendly locals. They are easy going and most of the time are prepared to help you out.

I arrived in Innsbruck with no knowledge of the German language but after a year I could get around and felt comfartable talking a little German.
