Overall
Some teachers know how to pass on their knowledge with passion. Student curiosity is encouraged and satisfied.
There is no shortage of gaps from the bureaucratic point of view, too complex and long.
But after all, I will always remember the most exciting courses and the effort I went through to get to the end.

Very flexible, but you have to find out their visiting hours if you want to talk with the lecturer, as sometimes, they are only yhere once a week

Personal comments
As most Italians don't speak other languages you have to speak Italian. Also among Erasmusstudents Italian is often thé language. I guess because I met a lot of Spanish people and as I don't speak Spanish and they most of the times didn't speak English, Italian was the most appropriate language. And in the end you get used to thinking in Italian and it got even quite difficult to use English after a while!

Overall

I have not gone to class in the whole year, of course it could be better to meet italian students but if you really want to live your erasmus life will be better for you to go out at night and sleep in the morning...

I wish I had known...
In Italy you can make an exam whenever you want during the year. I thought it was only possible in June and September.

To be patient. There are a lot of foreign students and, at the begining, it seems that nothing works.

Final comments
The first italian language free course begins the first of september and the second one in February. Try to arrive at the end of august to have the possibility of doing the first one.
