I'm 27 years old with a BA in English Literature. I'm currently studying Masters in English and American Studies and I recently finished an Erasmus semester at the University of Basel in Switzerland. Studying in the University of Turin has been an amazing experience so far. I'm learning a great deal in each course and there are a lot of opportunities that can be useful in regards to gaining knowledge and experience.

To travel cheap there are students' discounts on car rental, for example. You can go skiing at the Alpes for the weekend.

The thing we always have to keep in mind when trying to learn a different language it's not to be afraid to make/say mistakes. It's normal, and the best way to begin to speak it's like this. People with whom we deal with(teachers, students, and other foreigns students) know from the start that we're not fluent and always try to help. I even learn Italian by going shopping and asking the people in the store, how we say things... It's really great and the best way to learn it.
