the teachers english was quite good, we had some problems with portuguese students, some of them hardly speak a word english, which was quite difficult in group works

Portuguese is quite hard to learn if you don´t know any latin language. But after a while you can get along pretty well and many portuguese speak english anyway.

As this university is specialized in economics, these classes are sophisticated and the exams are pretty difficult. Classes in management are interesting, too and the exams are doable.

Final comments
For me Lisboa was the best place to do an exchange semester. Lisboa offers a lot of things to do and Portugal is a country where you can travel around easily. Don't forget a sleeping bag. It's useful for travelling and Lisboa's flats are quiet cold during nights sometimes until march.
