Course recommendations
We picked optional courses, mainly languages which meant that we weren't with the same class for most of our subjects which made it difficult to meet local students.

Most of the classes are based on attendance - ie- if you attend the classes you won't have to sit exams, which was a great thing for us.

Personal comments
I think the only way to learn a foreign language is to go into a country where the language is spoken. You have to experience it, feel it, dream in it and having it constantly around it. That´s the way it works. Furthermore the culture is playing an important role as well. It is all a part of it.

Don't splurge on everything. Save lots of money for shopping because the clothing over there is great and so affordable. remember to budget and you won't spend so much.
