Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Home university
If returning, I would choose: With a family
Why?
I had an amazing experience living in the residencia while I was still in school. I wish I had a chance to live with a family to practice my Spanish more than I had before.

The housing at the university was fully loaded. I had a prime location, excellent food, and an amazing house mother.

Overall
El profesorado se involucró enormemente en la tarea docente y su labor nos facilitó mucho a conseguir nuestras metas. Siempre tuvieron una relación muy cercana con los alumnos y jamas nos cerraron sus puertas si pedíamos su ayuda.

The University itself did not offer a very useful language course for foreigners but there was a very cheap and good option in the Escuela Oficial de Idiomas in Salamanca to learn two hours per day of Spanish as a foreign language.

I wish I had known...
I wish I would have known to pack more lightly, and to bring more $$. Read the news for a week before you travel, to be caught up on current events.
