It is difficult, but there is no better way to learn a language than studying abraod. I made so many mistakes, but learned from them, that is what made this experience so great.

People are very helpful and patient. They appreciate it when you try to speak the language as they are sick of English speaking tourists not having a word of spanish.

I had problems at first but after a one month intensive language course I learned alot and could understand so much more. Copy lecture things from native students!

i could recover and even improve my capabilities. it was much easier to follow class then the first time and spanish became somth like my second mother tongue.

i learned from the start, as I did not speack Spanish at all. After studying the language and doing written and spoken exams, I speack Spanish at native level!

In southern Spain, they have a distinct accent in the way they speak, but after hanging out with a few Spaniards for a month, you can pick it up quickly.
