There is plenty of housing for students and Granada is a great city becuase you can get to most anything on foot.

The school helps you with finding accomodation. However, it is very easy to find it on your own, there are flyers all over the city.

I loved being independent and really being integrated with the Spanish culture by having all my roomates be Spanish.

Well, since I am fluent in Spanish, I had an easy time finding my own place, they have posters advertising rooms for rent. One problem is that the water is usually heated by a "butano" which is a gas light, and its not what I am used to, you should look for "agua central".

Sharing a flat with other (exchange) students is the best thing to do when going abroad because: 1. one gets to know new people easily 2. one is forced to speak a foreign language 3. one gains new cultural experiences
