I found it cheaper to go out and find an apparment to share with other students than to live in a residencia, or with a family, or in the appartments listed by the University. I was able to live a Spanish students, and preferred the freedom of coooking and cleaning for myself and coming and going as I liked.

The University didn't help me in the search of accommodation, and it was quite hard to find a good place to stay.

As you get to choose your flat yourself and can decide for yourself if u like the people you will be living with or not, in which case you can look else where.
