It could have been better, but if its just for a semester or two in your life, doesn't really matter... One bad thing is that international students, since there are so many, are not taking care of by a welcoming comittee, or anything to make them get to know each other at the beginning of semester.

My language skills improved during my stay in the host country but through life outside university rather than because of it. Few students were willing to interact with Erasmus students
